Health Pointe Rehabilitaton & Sports is the rehabilitation division of Norris, Blessinger & Woebkenberg Orthopaedics & Spine.
Our experienced staff includes Physical and Occupational Therapists, Certified Athletic Trainers, and Physical Therapy Assistants. Many of our staff members hold additional certifications for specialized treatment of problems including back pain, hand injuries, and soft tissue mobilization.

Rehabilitation Team
Blaine Steimel, MSPT
Physical Therapist
Blaine attended the University of Indianapolis and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1995 and a Masters Degree in Physical therapy in 1997.
He is McKenzie Certified for mechanical diagnosis and therapy of the spine, and Graston certified for instrumented soft-tissue mobilization. He is also an A.P.T.A. Clinical Instructor
His professional interests are spine related injuries in conjunction with radiating symptoms into the extremities.
Sara attended Bellarmine University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2006 and graduated with a Doctorate in physical therapy in 2016. She is an APTA member and clinical instructor.
She completed specialty training in vestibular rehabilitation through Emory University in 2022 with proficiency in managing vertigo and dizziness.
Sara is certified in Functional Dry Needling with Level II qualifications for treating a range of conditions including spinal radiculopathy and sport-related injuries.

Melissa Stamps, DPT
Physical Therapist
Melissa attended the University of Evansville and graduated with her Bachelors in Movement Science in 2009 and Doctorate of physical therapy in 2011.
She earned her Vestibular Competency in 2013 from Emory University and her International Vestibular Certification in 2021. She is an APTA Clinical Instructor and a member of the neurology section of the APTA.
She specializes in inner ear, concussion, vestibular and balance disorders and has a passion for treating patients with these conditions.
Jake attended the University of Southern Indiana and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science in 2018 and a Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 2021.
He is certified in blood flow restriction training for treating a wide variety of patient conditions. His professional interests include return to sport rehabilitation as well as treating conditions of the lumbar spine.

Brian Stoll, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Brian recieved his Associate of Science degree from Vincennes University in 1993 and is a licensed Phyisical Therapist Assistant.
He has had extensive training in McKenzie Lumbar and Cervical rehab techniques and is also Graston Certified in instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization.
Brian has additional training and experience in wound care and in foot & ankle rehab with an emphasis on custom orthotic fabrication.
Taylor attended the University of Evansville and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science along with an Associates Degree from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2020.
Taylor is certified in total joint replacement rehabilitation and trained in blood flow restriction therapy. Her professional interests include general orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation.

Pedro Duran, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Pedro attended the University of Southern Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Exercise Science in 2018 and Vincennes University with an Associate of Science Degree in 2020 and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
His professional interests include sports and general orthopedic rehabilitation. He is trained in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.
Stephanie graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate of Science Degree in 2009 and is licencensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has had additional training in shoulder rehabilitation.
Her professional interests include general orthopaedic and geriatrtic rehabilitation.

Christy Burns, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Christy graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate of Science degree in 2009 and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
She has additional training in Manual Therapy including Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Active Release Techniques and Trigger Point Release.
Christy has experience in General outpatient therapy, Orthopedics, Long Term/Geriatric care, and Home Health Care.
Our well equipped rehab department provides a blend of hands-on care and premium equipment to bring together the ideal treatment environment for our patients
Biodex Isokenetics
The Biodex System 3 provides improved range of motion, muscle strengthening, and isokenetic testing data to evaluate your recovery, and help determine when you’re ready to return to work or play.
Our warm therapy pool allows patients to work in an environment that reduces stress and increases motion. Underwater treadmills provide a way to exercise that greatly reduces loads on hips, knees, and ankles.
